Actuary (all genders) with focus on Solvency II - Group Actuarial, Planning & Controlling Department

Your tasks:

  • Contributing to the Actuarial function of Vienna Insurance Group in the fulfillment of its tasks
  • Establishing technical provisions and capital requirements under Solvency II
  • Supporting VIG insurance companies in regulatory actuarial tasks covering:
    - Life & Non-Life insurance
    - Pricing and reserving
    - Quarterly and annual financial statements
    - Prophet & ResQ modelling

  • Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3.436,86 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant . It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.

Your Profile

  • University degree in mathematics
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the field of life or non-life insurance mathematics
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Solvency II regulations and basic knowledge of IFRS 17 standard
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; Experience with Prophet or ResQ is an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and very accurate way of working
  • Strong communication skills, team orientation and pleasure of working in an international environment
  • Very good spoken and written English language skills, good knowledge of German language
